LG Dare on Verizon Wireless

Folks looking for the LG Dare can now sign up with Verizon Wireless, bringing yet another touch-based handset to the masses before the 3G iPhone hits the market. It will retail for $199 - the same price point as Apple's magical soon-to-be runaway success, but that price tag comes with a 2-year contract. Other features include :-

  • Proximity sensor
  • Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP
  • 3.2 megapixel camera
  • EV-DO Rev A
  • HTML web browser

I just bought the dare today because my contract was up. How could someone not want a phone that has the best cell phone camera. I like my lg dare better than my dads iphone.

Well I have probably sent about 300 txt with this phone and although i would have to say it is easier to txt using the keyboard on the Voyager the Keypads on the dare are fairly easy to get used to.

Yeah, the Dare looks interesting and I'll go as fa as to say that the stuff on this phone-like the accelerometer and ev-do rev.A-could have been and should have been features of the Voyager still, the Voyager has the qwerty keyboard and a great browser.

I have teh voyager too, which I'm probably going to give to my mom because there's nothing wrong with it. i text a lot too and i NEVER find myself actually using the outside screen to text because it is too much of a pain in the butt. i read reviews that it's keyboard isn't bad, and with some practice im sure u could text faster. i ordered this phone two days ago and i should be getting it monday or tuesday, so idk how it rly is on texting yet, but im super exited!
