Nokia Supernova Series are Official
Posted on Jun 27, 08 09:43 AM PDT

Nokia's Supernova series have finally been officially recognized, and these will take over the current position of mid-range fashion handsets. There are four phones in total - the 7210, 7310, 7510, and 7610. Hmm, sounds as though some of these numbers have been used before, except that those were not part of any family. Head on after the jump for an excerpt from our sister site Uberphones regarding the handsets and what they have to offer.
The 7210 is a tri-band GSM phone with EDGE, along with a 2 megapixel camera and FM radio, set to launch in Q3 for around $189.The 7310 is much like the 7210, but supports Nokia's Xpress-On faceplates, TV-out as well as support for GSM 850. These additional features add another $55 to the cost of the phone, which surprisingly, is available now.
The 7510 sports the ever-popular flip design, and will have similar specs to the 7310, and is scheduled for Q4 at around $283 and in colors such as “Fatal Red”.
And last, but certainly not least, the 7610 features a slider design, along with a juicy 3.2 megapixel camera, and is scheduled for next quarter at $354.
