T-Mobile @Home Launches

T-Mobile USA today launched T-Mobile @Home, a service that allows customers to connect their home phone to T-Mobile service for $10/month with unlimited national calling. The service requires a broadband Internet connection, and uses a special router, which can also be used for T-Mobile's Hotspot @Home service that creates a short-range "tower" for T-Mobile cell phones using UMA technology. This service was previously trialled in Dallas and Seattle as "T-Mobile Hotspot @Home Talk Forever". A T-Mobile cell phone plan of at least $39/month is required to qualify for the $10/month add-on rate.
