FCC Approves Sony Ericsson Z780

The Sony Ericsson Z780 has just been given the nod of approval from the FCC, which means this clamshell handset ought to be making its way to carriers in the immediate future. Images have revealed an AT&T logo on it, so no prizes for guessing which carrier will feature this soon. I suppose it does come with an insurance plan since this is no iPhone. If you're a constant globe-trotter and would want a phone that works no matter which continent you're on, the Sony Ericsson Z780 is a candidate worth considering since it featurues quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G UMTS.
