FCC Approves HTC Census

There is a new HTC smartphone which has been approved by the FCC, and this one will be equipped with a fingerprint reader presumably for more secure transactions. What you see here is not quite the finished product yet, featuring a black and white body complete with the Harris logo, a wireless technology firm. Chances are it will come with a touch screen display since the HTC Census lacks a keyboard at this point in time. Other features include :-

  • Qualcomm MSM6500 chipset
  • microSD memory card slot
  • Fingerprint reader
With no built-in digital camera, this could very well be a basic smartphone that targets industrial usage.
