Adobe Plans to License Flash for Free

In an attempt to expand the presence of Flash on mobile devices, Adobe announced that it will begin to license Flash technology for free. It has launched an initiative called the Open Screen Project, which includes handset manufacturers Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson, as well as chip makers Intel and Qualcomm. The end goal is to improve the mobile internet experience for end users.
