Future fuel cell battery from Samsung

With batteries of the future being like the one offered by Samsung, one no longer needs to frantically look for a nearby power outlet whenever your handset runs out of juice. All you need to do is head towards the nearest water faucet and you're good to go. Apparently, this new technology will roll out in 2010 minus the hydrogen cartridge it currently needs, using special metals within to react with water to produce hydrogen gas which will then be channeled to a fuel cell, whereby oxygen from the air will react with the hydrogen to produce electricity. Samsung is bold enough to claim that this new battery has double the lifetime of current battery technologies found in handsets these days. Neat!
