BlackBerry Gets XM Radio

Guess BlackBerry owners will soon be able to enjoy XM Radio Mobile, as long as they fork out $7.99 a month. That amount of dough will offer access to 20 channels of XM programming, including commercial free music channels in addition to The Virus (uncensored talk) and XM Comedy (uncensored comedy) through QuickPlay’s OpenVideo. It has never been easier to be entertained at all times, no matter where we are. I wonder how kids of the next generation will face where entertainment medium is concerned.

I tried this BB application and was very dissatisfied with the product. They offer you a 1 day trial subscription so you can give it a shot for free if you're interested.

They only offer 20 stations in total, with only 1 or 2 being pop/top 40's/urban. There are no hip hop stations and the application isn't even owned by XM so you get no discount if you are a current XM subscriber. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.
