Internet made easy for Sprint Customers

Customers of Sprint will be able to do a little jig knowing that the wireless carrier will employ an open Internet model by launching an enhanced mobile Web browsing experience on virtually all Web-capable Sprint phones. This means Sprint will be the first US carrier to launch the OpenWeb solution from OpenWave Systems Inc., enabling users to access Internet sites faster including those that have not been optimized for a mobile device. This enhancement is automatic for existing customers who are already doing most of their surfing on the handsets, which is always a good thing since installation of programs can be quite complicated at times.
